Jr. 3D Environmental Artist

About the Role

As a Junior 3D Environmental Artist at Infinite Studios, you'll be the creative mind behind what players will explore. Your creations will set the mood, tell visual stories, and create memorable spaces players will want to return to again and again. We're looking for someone who can balance artistic vision with technical constraints, making environments both stunning and performant while having a basic understanding of what's popular in the market. This role is perfect for enthusiastic devs who are early in their game design and/or Roblox development journey but have a solid foundation and are eager to learn.

We are not looking for years of experience, we are looking for passion, curiosity, and willingness to dive into challenges. You'll work closely with our senior designers & project leads who will mentor you, while you contribute creative design & gameplay engagement.

This is a hands-on junior role, you'll be working with real developers directly, create engaging & quality designs, and see your work in the hands of players.

What You'll Do

• Design and create immersive 3D environments and props for Roblox experiences
• Model low-poly assets that balances visual quality with performance
• Create textures and materials that enhance the experience's style(s)
• Collaborate with game designers to ensure environment supports gameplay requirements
• Optimize assets to maintain performance across all devices
• Contribute to the overall art direction and visual identity of our projects

What We're Looking For

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Basic proficiency in 3D modeling skills with Blender or Roblox Studio
• Experience creating experience-ready, optimized 3D assets
• Some experience building in Roblox Studio (personal projects count!)
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and willing to ask questions
• Self-motivated learner who can manage their time effectively in a remote environment
• Mature indviduals who can recieve feedback and can keep themselves accountable
• Passion for games and game development

Nice-to-Haves (but not required)

• Understanding of Roblox Level Design principles and player navigation
• Understanding of the Roblox market/algorithm
• Be a resident of North America (NA) due to timezone constraints with the team
